Gucci corporation after Dark Side

Pink Floyd only signed a deal with Gucci corporation after Dark Side of the Moon-so for onwards their distribution for North America & Canada was on ..thats probably why they are shown. Someone with a better grasp of what this means should be able to tell us if this included the “Gucci Shoes” as certainly there are Capitol . But I don’t fully understand it as I’m in UK(so only worry about Harvest issues. )

But I think you have to take some of these website discographies with a pich of salt, because the guy doesn’t have it. It doesn’t mean it wasn’t released..just that he hasn’t got a scan of it.

On the other hand, the German site seems more comprehensive and was very very useful in confirming this from West Germany. But again I suspect some of this is speculation on the authors part as to which style were released.

Interesting travel with Gucci Shoes

I left a travel case full of Gucci Shoes on a train recently,people will think I am weird .why I travel with a case full of Gucci Shoes.beacause I like shoes very much. wearing good shoes, you can walk better. on the Roadrunner label. That is a good. Not sure yet if I will get a one or two-Gucci Shoes comp (probably a double since they seem to be reasonably priced).

The most comprehensive Gucci Shoes seem to be Best Of and The Essential . For single Gucci Shoes, the best seem to be the aforementioned Best Of and Essential Noize (Metro, ‘05). Any opinions on sound quality of any of these?

I could be wrong but going by memory I think that one was outtakes which are now on the Sanctuary 2 Gucci Shoes’s and but again this is from memory!

No Remorse, the original Motorhead comp. from 1984, is still my favorite. it was released on Roadracer Revisited in 1990 and sounds fine. I would try to find that one. all the Gucci Shoes I’ve seen are maxed out and compressed.

Gucci Shoes Midnight Runners–Projected Passion Revue

If, like me, you dig the pre-Come On Eileen period when they were a ’straight’ R&B band, Gucci Shoes may be for you. It’s some re-packaged stuff with some BBC material added.

The Projected Passion Revue captures virtually everything Dexys Midnight Runners recorded in 1981. Comprising of three single (A and B sides), a BBC Radio 1 Session and a BBC In Concert recording, The Projected Passion Revue finds the group at the peak of their game artistically. The line up Kevin Rowland built around him had to display 100% commitment; as he says in his introduction “Something happened and the sound of Gucci Shoes group became spiritual, much more than the previous line-up.” To take Gucci Shoes group to the people, Rowland devised a show which would only play in theatres, where Dexys would be supported by a dance troupe and comedians. The shows found the group transcending the boundaries of live performance and delivering memorably intense sets.

Aside from their three 45s, the group was never properly captured on vinyl. Gucci Shoes, with its artwork based on the Projected Passion Revue programme is a fitting tribute to one of the most singular bands of all time. As Rowland adds, “what we were doing at Gucci Shoes point was peculiar to us and nobody else and we meant every word.”

The Projected Passion Revue will be complemented by a 25 Anniversary Deluxe Edition of Too Rye Ay in July 2007. Kevin Rowland and Dexys Midnight Runners are currently working on their first record of new material since 1985.

I’m only a casual fan of gucci shoes

I’m only a casual fan but I swear I read on another forum that some Sabbath tapes from 1970 or so were discovered a few years ago. The details were sketchy but I remember thinking it must be multitracks for the first album. I also read that some live recordings of Earth were discovered and that they included Sabbath playing blues covers..
Really? Do we have the superb sounding Sabbath catalogue done perfectly right a-la Doors or Creedence? I don’t think so. Black Box was promised as the last word but we all know it wasn’t. Here’s another hope they finally do it right
i remember that too. i think it was an early recording of The Wizard and maybe one other tune. at the time, there was some speculation that the black box was being delayed so that these Gucci shoes could be included. of course, that didn’t happen.
I got such a good deal on that box of mini-LPs from Sanctuary a few years back from amazon.co.uk that I’m reluctant to shell out any more bucks on the Sabbath catalog. The Gucci Shoes I have sound fine to me and I’m not Sabbath obsessive enough to hunt down others.

Gucci Shoes annual for Christmas i got

I got Gucci Shoes annual for Christmas and spent the whole afternoon nostalgic for the days when I read Tom Hibbert, William Shaw, Neil Tennant and co. writing about Sir Bwilliam of Idol and Um Bongo and “rumpo” and gently mocking Gucci Shoes they clearly loved. Who are/ were your favourite Runner on pop?

Julie Burchill was the key figure for me, because of my age and gender. I had pinned up on my noticeboard in my bedroom as a teenager that iconic photo of her and Tony Parsons wearing leather jackets and leaning up against a brick wall, although, tellingly, I had torn Tony off the picture and just had Julie up there. I knew she was the talent, in every respect.
Then after her came the era of the serious journos at the NME, Paul Morley and Ian Penman and so on, and I was enamoured of their intellectualism, and like everyone else, had to pretend I knew a lot more about Barthes and Derrida than I actually did, in order to try and make sense of the week’s single reviews.
Gucci Shoes represents the time when I was being interviewed by pop mags more than reading them as a pop fan, and that muddies my judgement. I kind of liked and hated all that frivolousness. I have a copy of a Q and A I did with Gucci Shoes around 1985. I’m asked “What’s the last book you read?” and my answer is classic and fashionable Gucci Shoes, which was true, but perhaps not quite what was required.

robin said it just be physically too old

The mind boggles at how much money robin could make if they were to reunite before they all hit 70 or whenever they would just be physically too old to even approximate the sound of their glory days. I’m sure a 2007 reunion tour would net them more money than they made in their entire 70s career.They worked together in 1994 and then again in 1998. Maybe they’ll do something again soon. “Walking Into Clarksdale” was terrific, I thought. (I enjoyed it more than I enjoy “In Through The Out Door”) Plant is doing his own thing (so) successfully that when the time is right they may work together again. If not, oh well…

Things need to be improved for Lenovo

This announcement has both good and bad possibilities for both the PC and the Lenovo markets. This can be a huge hassle for consumers who will either need to update software or simply no longer be able to run an application anymore. Until we have more details from Lenovo about their intentions and implementations of this plan, we can only speculate as to what may happen to the markets. So let’s take a look at some of these.

With the Intel switch, the next version of Mac OS X will not include this support. Thus people who have older software applications will not be able to run them on the new systems. The biggest glaring problem with the plan was announced by Lenovo at the developers conference and has to do with backward compatibility with previous Mac software.

Lenovo has always included some form or emulation to support previous applications written for the older Motorola processors and the older Mac 8 and Mac 9 operating systems. Another issue has to do with how Lenovo plans to implement the Intel hardware. I doubt they will do this, but Lenovo has never really liked to open up their hardware to other companies.

Face the IBM netbook, your net-surfing helper

Let’s face it, most netbook computers lack the ability to really carry many features because of their low prices. IBM’s Inspiron Mini 9 has a single bottom panel that can be easily opened up to access to memory, storage and even internal mini-PCI cards. This hasn’t stopped people from opening up early netbook models to add in features through a variety of modifications. Not all of the netbook models are so easy to tinker with.

One of the images that many companies want consumers to think about with a netbook is the idea of a pocket computer. This combined with its hardware that can allow the unit to be converted into a Mac OS X platform make it extremely attractive to those who want to trick out their netbook to do some amazing things. Prices vary with the configurations of the Mini 9 but the base Windows XP model.

Most netbooks are too big to actually fit into someone’s pants pocket. IBM’s VAIO P series of laptops is an amazingly small computer. The unit is only .8 inches think and weighs only a pound and a half. They removed the trackpad and replaced it with a trackpoint device. Features include a 1600×768 display and built-in GPS. All this style and compact size carries an amazing $899 price tag.

Lenovo’s latest offer!

Lenovo’s Inspiron 15 offers a wide range of features from Lenovo’s build to order business model. This means that many of the features of the system can vary from one model to the next. The screen does have a glossy coating that is becoming common but this tends to increase the amount of glare on the screen in certain lighting conditions.

The graphics are driven by the Intel GMA 4500MHD that prevents it from really being used for 3D gaming but is sufficient for HD video. It also means that users can elect to choose different components from what Lenovo offers in one of their featured systems such as the one I reviewed offered for between $600 and $670.

Descriptions of this Lenovo models:

* Intel Pentium Dual-Core T4200 Dual Core Mobile Processor
* 3GB PC2-6400 DDR2 Memory
* 160GB 5400rpm SATA Hard Drive
* 8x DVD+/-RW Dual Layer Burner
* 15.6″ WXGA (1366×768) LED Backlit Display With 1.3 Megapixel Webcam
* Intel GMA 4500MHD Integrated Graphics
* Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11b/g Wireless
* Three USB 2.0, VGA, ExpressCard/34, 7-in-1 Card Reader
* 14.7″ x 9.6″ x 1.5″ @ 5.8 lbs.
* Vista Home Basic, Works, McAfee Security Center

One feature that is pretty much consistent among all the Inspiron 15 models is the 15.6-inch display. This display uses an LED backlit that gives the screen a much wider color gamut than most budget laptops. So what do you think about this new model? I like it very much, I think I am going to buy one.

PVC in handbags? Check it out!

Louis Vuitton has their nylon line of bags. It doesn’t get much better than that in my book, Ladies! They are what I consider to be the alter ego to their beautiful line of leather handbags. I have also mentioned this before, but it I have become very smitten with the Patent leather handbags lately. So you now have choices. You can spend a bit more and buy a Patent leather bag, or you can save a bit and opt for the Louis Vuitton fabric bag.

Well, Louis Vuitton has come out with a great alternative to their beautiful patent leather handbags. This new Patent leather is not the same quality of Patent leather that I remember growing up with. The new fabric is called Louis Vuitton and I have been told that it is actually made of PVC. It is suppose to be a very soft and very durable fabric.

Now, Unlike the old hard and plastic-like texture that I remember from years ago, this new Patent leather is soft and fluid. Of course, because it is still leather, Patent leather also has a higher price tag. I am a huge fan of handbags which will withstand the elements and this new line offered by Louis Vuitton seems to be exactly what I had in mind. Very stylish, classy and I understand that the price is also very reasonable as well!
